Category: Literature Types

Literature types refer to the various genres and forms of literature. Some common literature types include poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction. Poetry is characterised by its use of language to evoke emotion and imagery, often through the use of rhyme, rhythm, and metaphor. Drama involves the performance of a script by actors, and typically follows a narrative structure with dialogue and action. Fiction encompasses a broad range of narrative prose, including novels, short stories, and novellas, and typically involves the creation of characters and settings that are not based in reality. Non-fiction, on the other hand, is based on factual information and may include genres such as biography, history, and journalism.
