Should authors blog, is a question that brings mixed answers. Some say no, some say yes, and many land up in between.
Maybe because I started out by writing blog posts I fall headlong into the yes category. It took me a long time to understand blogs, and even longer to realise the potential they have to impact on an author’s career.
Good author blogs can highlight your expertise, authority and build trust. And they have the power to drive substantial traffic to your author website and your books.
Choosing a platform, researching materiai, structuring and writing posts, adding images and media, if done well can add huge value to authors.
