Frangipani

Sweet frangipani blooming mine,

Embrace me with your petals soft.

A velvet glove so pure and fine.

Your secret held within its grasp.

By day you rest in shaded leaves

And wait for dusk’s cool air to breathe.

‘Tis then you weave your magic spell;

Seduce me with your fragrant smell.

Your honey stamen shining bright.

Its secrets to disarm.

Alluring perfume fills the night.

I’ve fallen for your charm.
